New Floors!

Okay, it's a long story, but we were planning to put hardwood floor in my husband's library this summer. Actually the room was built 8 years ago, but we only had so much money and that ran out. So for 8yrs we've been living on plywood subflooring in that room. This summer we were finally ready to make the next move. We found a man to do the work for us, and yet in the process of finding the right wood, we were given a tip about some local, gorgeous, salvaged wood. I sent our guy over to check it out. Finally he's ready to do the job, but alas! the wood is all gone. We were 2nd on the list, and the 1st person took their amount, not leaving enough for us. The wood man said that there would be more, but it would be a bit later in the summer. What do we do now? A few weeks later, I get notification that the next batch is nearly salvaged. Do we want it now?? But our original guy no longer has the time to put it in for us. acckk! now what? I make a few more phone calls and find another man to do the labor. It's not all done yet, but we're back into the workings again. We are all so excited to finally have REAL floors in the library with a bonus floor in the dining room. We are truly blessed!!
