Water Wails (whales?)
What is it with us and water????
The downstairs bathroom (read basement) has had a wet carpet. We're totally puzzled. And this morning, my ds came upstairs to say that the carpet in one part of his bedroom is wet. But the carpet in the bathroom is nearly dry now.
water water everywhere..... Not true. The mechanical room, where the main drain is, is dry as a bone. Where is this water coming from? I'm afraid, very afraid. Are we going to have to jackhammer the basement floor. Of course. Don't these types of thing always happen 6wks before a wedding?
I think the first step is to pull up the carpet. Doesn't smell very nice now anyway. No loss... Maybe the cement will share a secret.

Had to have the main electrical panel rewired as well.
Makes me nervous to think about what might go wrong for our next nuptials.
And no, that's not an annoucement :)

The water in ds's room was from a misaligned downspout. the water in the bathroom is still an enigma...
