Noel's Peanut Butter Bars
I found a recipe on the internet for these bars. We fixed them and then decided that they were too sweet and not peanutty enough. So below is our adapted version. As usual the quantity is LARGE. :-)
1 1/2 cups butter, melted
4 packs of graham crackers, crumbled
2 cups peanut butter (even my homemade works!)
1 cup powdered sugar
Mix the above ingredients until well blended. Press evenly into the bottom of an ungreased 13x17 pan.
Melt together:
1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
4 Tablespoons peanut butter
Spread this topping over the peanut butter crust.
Refrigerate for at least one hour before cutting into squares.
DD#2 is doing this recipe again as I type. We're checking on final details and will update.
