Guest House

For years my husband and I have had numerous visitors cross over our threshold. We have absolutely enjoyed it! It has been a blessing to fellowship with folks from all parts of the world. God has also blessed us with a large house, and we often discussed how we could make things even easier for us to have guests. We have a barn....

And we talked about converting the small barn into a guest house of sorts...

And then one day, we decided to build a guest house separate but near the barn.


And after many months of discussions with a builder, with hearings with the planning and zoning committee of our county, the ground was broken for our small guest house. It's a bit smaller than we had hoped, but we had to follow the rules of local government. Our 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom little guest house will hopefully be finished before grandbaby #3 enters this world, as it should be her first home.
